2026年5月に米国サンフランシスコで開催された「サンフランシスコ・ワールド・スピリッツ・コンペティション2026（以下SFWSC: The San Francisco World Spirits Competition）」において、弊社の『白岳KAORU』が焼酎部門で最高金賞（Double Gold）、『BEAR’S BOOK』がジン部門で金賞（Gold）を受賞いたしました。

　

■コンペティション概要
サンフランシスコ・ワールド・スピリッツ・コンペティション（SFWSC）は、世界で最も権威のある蒸留酒コンペティションの一つであり、蒸留酒業界における品質評価の国際的な指標として高く評価されています。
ホワイトスピリッツ、ウイスキー、ブランデー、リキュール・その他部門が設けられおり、毎年世界中から数千ものブランドが出品され、その受賞結果は、流通業者や小売店、そして消費者からの信頼獲得に大きな影響を与えています。
審査は、トップバイヤーやバーテンダー、スピリッツ専門家による厳格なブラインドテイスティング方式で行われ、公平性と信頼性の高い評価が特徴です。
各部門から「金賞（Gold）」・「銀賞（Silver）」・「銅賞（Bronze）」が選出され、さらに審査員の満場一致で金賞に値する評価を獲得したものは、「最高金賞（Double Gold）」の称号が与えられます。

【HAKUTAKE KAORU Wins Double Gold and BEAR’S BOOK Wins Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2026】

Takahashi Shuzo is proud to announce that HAKUTAKE KAORU has been awarded a Double Gold Medal in the Shochu category, while BEAR’S BOOK received a Gold Medal in the Gin category at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2026 (SFWSC), held in San Francisco, California, USA, in May 2026.

■About the Competition
The San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC) is widely recognized as one of the world's most prestigious spirits competitions and serves as an international benchmark for quality in the distilled spirits industry.

The competition features a wide range of categories, including white spirits, whisky, brandy, liqueurs, and others. Every year, thousands of brands from around the world are submitted for evaluation, and the results have a significant impact on gaining the trust of distributors, retailers, and consumers alike.

Judging is conducted through a rigorous blind-tasting process by a panel of top buyers, bartenders, and spirits experts, ensuring fairness, credibility, and the highest standards of evaluation.

Medals are awarded in three levels: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Products that receive unanimous Gold-level recognition from all judges are honored with the prestigious Double Gold Medal distinction.
